Eleanor Charlotte Bell grew up in a small cottage outside Edinburgh, Scotland. Her dad was a wizard and her mom was a muggle. She was the only daughter and grew up running around in the woods, helping her mom tend to hurten animals and looking after her brothers - both of whom were still childish. She and her siblings were homeschooled during their early years in the muggle and magical worlds. Eventually, they got their Hogwarts invitations when they were of age, where Eleanor was sorted into the Hufflepuff house and her brothers into the Ravenclaw.
